Why We Built Shroom Service
Shroom Service didn't start as a business idea. It started as a question: Why is it so hard to get premium psilocybin products delivered to your door in San Francisco? With real information, real transparency, and someone actually available to help?
We'd seen the underground version, products with no information, no transparency, no one to ask. We'd also seen the over-clinical version, cold, transactional, stripped of any sense of what these medicines actually are and what they can do. Neither felt right. Neither honored the reality that the people turning to psychedelics are, almost always, looking for something meaningful. Relief. Clarity. A reconnection with themselves.
We believed something more honest was possible. So we built it, right here in the Bay.
The gap we saw
The psychedelic renaissance is here. Research is accelerating at Johns Hopkins, UCSF, NYU, and beyond. Legal frameworks are shifting across Oregon, Colorado, and cities nationwide. More people every year are turning to psilocybin, functional mushrooms, and other plant medicines not as a last resort, but as a first choice.
But access to trustworthy information hasn't kept pace. Too many people are making high-stakes decisions without knowing what they're working with, what dose makes sense, or what to expect. Too many difficult experiences could have been avoided with basic guidance.
We built Shroom Service to bridge that gap. To be the source people can actually trust.

Harm reduction isn't a footnote for us; it's the foundation. We apply the same sourcing and quality standards we'd use for ourselves, because we use these medicines too. Third-party testing, transparent ingredient sourcing, and honest dosage information are non-negotiable.
